Terms & Conditions
These terms cover the use of this website and the general basis on which TheWorthDesk ("we") provides web design, development and related services. Each project is also set out in a written quotation; if the quotation and these terms differ, the quotation applies.
1. Quotations and scope
Package prices on this site are starting prices in Seychelles rupees. The final price depends on scope, integrations and content requirements, and is confirmed in a written quotation before work begins. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately.
2. Payment
Standard website projects are paid 50% to confirm the project and start, and 50% after final approval and before launch. We publish the website once payment is complete.
3. Third-party costs
Unless included in writing, the client pays separately for domain registration, hosting, premium plugins or software, booking platforms, CRM subscriptions, email marketing platforms, WhatsApp/API fees, payment gateway fees, and AI platform and usage fees. These services are contracted in the client's name wherever possible.
4. Content and access
The client supplies text, images, logos and the access we need (for example, a user account on the hosting panel), and confirms they have the right to use that material. Project timelines start once the content and access are received. Delays in content move the timeline accordingly.
5. Revisions and approval
Each package includes two revision rounds on the private staging version. Feedback is sent as one consolidated message per round. Further rounds, or changes after approval, are quoted separately.
6. Ownership
Once the project is paid in full, the client owns the website as delivered, its content and the domain and accounts registered in their name. Third-party software, fonts, stock photographs and services stay under their own licences. We may show the finished project in our portfolio unless the client asks us not to.
7. Support
Post-launch technical support covers issues directly related to the delivered website and included integrations, for the period in the package: 14 days (Essential), 30 days (Business) or 60 days (Growth). New features, content changes and ongoing updates are available under a maintenance plan.
8. Liability
We build carefully and test before launch, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation of third-party services such as hosting, booking platforms or messaging tools. Our total liability for any project is limited to the amount paid for that project. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Cancellation
If a project is cancelled after it starts, the first payment covers work already done and is not refunded. Work completed beyond that value is invoiced at the agreed rates.
10. Use of this website
The content of this website, including the design and the demo websites shown in the portfolio, belongs to TheWorthDesk unless stated otherwise. The demo websites present fictional businesses. Photographs are used under their stated licences.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Seychelles.
